A local favorite in Logan Circle for bagels and sandwiches, located directly below our condo. Ideal for a quick breakfast or lunch before the weekend’s events. Adding hot honey to any breakfast sandwich is our favorite!

A longtime Dupont Circle bookstore and café, well-suited for a more laid-back meal or coffee. An easy stop for something informal, with a bit of local character and plenty of books to browse.

A classic American bar and grill with a long-standing presence in Washington. More low key than in New York, it’s easy, familiar, and well-located for a relaxed meal or drink.

Our favorite casual and reliable option for sushi and Japanese small plates. It’s well-suited for a more low-key meal without sacrificing quality. If you go on Sunday, you’ll also stumble upon the Dupont Farmer’s Market and Little Flea Market.

A neighborhood staple for seafood, with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. A good choice for oysters, a drink, and an easy, social meal. The Dupont location is walkable from hotels, but the Wharf location offers a fun field trip with views of the Potomac River!

A longstanding favorite for Mexican comfort food, known for its generous portions and unfussy approach. Best for a casual meal that doesn’t take itself too seriously. The spicy cucumber margarita is Tia’s favorite.
